I went to New York City today.
I went with my aunt and my cousin. We spent most of the day at the Met, looking at the Egyptian exhibit, and fangirling over the Van Gogh’s they had on display. I’ll post some pictures that I took of the paintings.
Then we went to Rockefeller Center and watched the ice skaters, and omg I haven’t laughed so hard in weeks. We were watching this young, flamingly gay guy twirling around all over the place, almost knocking old ladies down in his efforts to touch himself while skating. And then, out of nowhere, this old dude in a fedora shows up and starts skating circles around him. I shit you not, it was a skate-off. So fucking funny.
Then we went to the Lego store, and omg the things people can fucking build with Lego’s. It is incredible.
So now I’m home. I’m extremely tired, and my knees are killing me, and I’ve got city all over me. But it’s okay, cos we had fun.
